These terms apply when you buy from LAK & Co Chocolates & Confections through this website. By placing an order you agree to them. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

Orders and acceptance

When you place an order you will receive an order confirmation email. This confirms we have received your order; a contract is formed when we dispatch your goods. We may refuse or cancel an order — for example where a product is unavailable or was listed at an obviously incorrect price — in which case we will refund you in full.

Prices and payment

All prices are in pounds sterling (GBP) and include VAT where applicable. Delivery charges are shown at checkout before you pay. Payment is taken at the time of ordering through our secure payment providers.

Delivery

Delivery options, costs and timescales are set out on our Delivery & Shipping page. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery.

Cancellations, returns and refunds

Your cancellation and return rights, including the exceptions that apply to perishable and made-to-order food items, are set out in our Returns & Refunds policy. If anything arrives damaged or faulty, we will replace it or refund you in line with the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Food information and allergens

Our products are handled in a kitchen that also handles nuts, peanuts, milk, soya, wheat (gluten), eggs and sesame. Please read our Ingredients page and the label on each product before consuming. If you have an allergy, contact us before ordering.

Our liability

We do not exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud. Otherwise, we are not liable for losses that were not foreseeable when the contract was made, or for business losses — we supply goods for private use only.

General

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes may be brought before the courts of England and Wales (or your local UK courts if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland). If any part of these terms is found invalid, the rest still applies. We may update these terms from time to time; the version on this page at the time of your order applies.
